Data Deletion Instructions

1. Your Right to Data Deletion

At ClipMixAI, we respect your right to control your personal data. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws, you have the right to request the deletion of all personal data we hold about you.

2. What Data We Delete

When you request data deletion, the following information is permanently removed from our systems:

• Your account information (name, email address, profile data)
• All uploaded files (photos, audio, videos) and AI-generated content
• Usage history, preferences, and any associated metadata

3. How to Request Data Deletion

You can delete your data using any of the following methods:

1. In-App: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will immediately schedule your account and all associated data for permanent deletion.
2. Email: Send a deletion request to clipmixai@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. Include 'Data Deletion Request' in the subject line.
3. Facebook/Instagram: If you connected your Facebook Page or Instagram account for publishing, you can remove ClipMixAI from your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → ClipMixAI → Remove. We will automatically process the deletion request.

4. Processing Time

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete. Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being permanently purged.

5. Data We May Retain

We may retain certain data as required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes) or for legitimate business interests (e.g., fraud prevention). Any retained data will be minimized and securely stored.

Other GDPR Rights

In addition to deletion (right to erasure), GDPR Articles 15–22 give you the following rights over your personal data. We process every request without undue delay and no later than 30 days from receipt.

• Right of access (Art. 15): you can request a copy of all data we hold about you. The Dashboard "Export my data" button generates a JSON file with your profile, jobs, music, consent log, and connected accounts.
• Right to rectification (Art. 16): you can update your name, email, language, marketing-email preference, and other profile data directly from Settings.
• Right to data portability (Art. 20): the same JSON export above is provided in a structured, machine-readable format so you can move it to another service.
• Right to restrict processing (Art. 18): if you contest the accuracy of your data or its processing, email privacy@clipmixai.com and we will freeze further processing while we investigate.
• Right to object (Art. 21): you can object to direct-marketing emails at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email or toggling marketing emails off in Settings. For other legitimate-interest processing, contact privacy@clipmixai.com.
• Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7): where processing is based on consent (analytics cookies, voice cloning, marketing emails, review-publication consent), you can withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
• Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77): you have the right to file a complaint with your national data-protection authority. Find your authority at edpb.europa.eu.
