This Cookie Policy explains how ClipMixAI and Cortex (operated by the same entity) use cookies and similar technologies on our websites (clipmixai.com, admin-test.clipmixai.com) and related services.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember you, your preferences, and how you use the service. Some are essential for the site to work; others are used for analytics or marketing.

Categories we use

1. Strictly necessary (always on)

These cookies are required for the site to function. They include:

  • Session tokens — keep you signed in after you log in (auth_token, admin_session).
  • CSRF protection — prevent cross-site request forgery on form submissions.
  • Locale preference — remembers the language you selected.
  • Consent preference — remembers your choice on this banner so we don't ask again (cookie_consent).

You can't opt out of strictly-necessary cookies without breaking core functionality (for example, signing in).

2. Analytics (optional — off by default until you accept)

We use analytics tools to understand how visitors find and use the site, so we can improve it. These cookies do not identify you personally.

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — aggregated page views, session duration, traffic source. We run GA4 in Consent Mode v2; no data is sent until you opt in.
  • TikTok Pixel — measures ad campaign effectiveness when you arrive from a TikTok ad. Held until consent is granted.
  • Google Ads conversion — if you arrive from a Google Ads campaign, we measure whether your visit led to a sign-up or purchase. Loaded only after analytics consent.

Third-party services (for Cortex users)

If you use the Cortex social-posting product, we connect to social platforms on your behalf. Those platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube) may set their own cookies during OAuth flows. Those cookies are governed by each platform's own privacy policy; we do not control them.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies during checkout to detect fraud and keep your session secure. Read Stripe's cookie policy.

Managing your preferences

You can change your cookie choice at any time by clicking the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of any page, or by clearing your browser's storage for our site. Most browsers also let you block all cookies, though doing so may break parts of the site.

Retention

Essential cookies live as long as your session (or up to 7 days for auth tokens). Analytics cookies live up to 13 months, per GA4 defaults. Consent preference lives up to 12 months or until you clear browser storage.
